The partnership was launched with a successful shoot at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club
The Athlete's Voice has partnered with Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel programme, to deliver exclusive content at some of the world’s finest locations through its roster of international stars, leveraging athlete social channels to generate huge reach and engagement.
The partnership was launched with a successful shoot at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club, starring England cricketers Ben Stokes, Jason Roy, Matthew Potts, and social media influencer JCC.
The Athlete's Voice is a new platform and vibrant community in the world of athlete and sports business media, delivering marquee concepts and events that attract commercial partners. It has been created by ICONOME as the media house of 4CAST, a company that provides a gateway for elite athletes to participate in business and to use their profile to support ideas and concepts they believe in as a group. The current roster of talent includes 15 athletes plus content creators and social media influencers.
Marriott Bonvoy gives members access to transformative, eye-opening experiences around the corner and across the globe. Its portfolio of more than 30 extraordinary hotel brands offers renowned hospitality in the most memorable destinations in the world.
The Athlete's Voice and Marriott Bonvoy collaborated on a shoot at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club, where Stokes, Roy, Potts and JCC enjoyed the outstanding facilities across the property, including the fitness suite, spa, and golf course. The shoot with Marriott Bonvoy aligned with The Athlete's Voice's mission to showcase the lives of its athletes beyond sport. At Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club, they were able to take 'a moment of pause' to focus on wellness and mental health.
The content captured was distributed on The Athlete's Voice app - the go-to destination for fans who want access to exclusive content from their favourite athletes, and to learn about their lives away from sport. Content was also posted by Stokes, Roy, Potts and JCC on their social channels.
"Marriott Bonvoy, like ourselves, are focused on great storytelling, and that is central to this successful partnership. We have a shared mission to deliver authentic content, which we are able to do with international athletes as part of The Athlete’s Voice," said Robin Shelley, co-founder and president of ICONOME.
"Marriott Bonvoy also have incredibly strong values around themes like health and wellness, and this aligns with the goal of showcasing the athletes' lives beyond their sport. Our shoot at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club was the ideal way to bring all of these elements together."
